This is a common mistake. One I keep making myself, even though I know the difference. For example, when I first made the post about the venomous snail, I called it poisonous and almost posted it with the wrong word.  I suppose I could make the excuse that I’m Norwegian and we don’t have two different words for it, they are both just “giftig”, but I’m probably just forgetful 😛
