Weather vs climate
They are of course closely related, but I see a lot of people use the wrong term when they argue about climate change, so I wanted to (at least try) to make this clearer 🙂
“How can you say anything about the climate in 10 years when you can’t even get the weather predictions for next week right” is an argument I just loathe. Well, here is the reason. I don’t know for sure if I will dress for wind or rain next week, but I do know what kinds of clothes I will wear in march 2031, and it will most likely not be swimwear. And I will be able to see how many years it will probably take before I’m willing to go swimming in march, by seeing how much warmer march gets, on average, each year.
